Bradley Turner

Bradley Turner was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Georgia Mae Ross Turner and Wilson T. Turner, Sr. on July 24, 1956. He attended public school in Indianapolis and graduated from Shortridge High School. Bradley had a special bond and relationship with the cherished mother of three of his children, Pamela Gamby. They welcomed three children into the world together, Tina Johnson, Rena England, Bradley Turner, and still-born son, Bryan. Bradley later was united in marriage to ex- wife Myrinah Turner, in Indianapolis, Indiana. No children were born to their union. Besides the three children that Bradley and Pamela shared, he was also blessed with another son, Anthony Turner, and daughter, Carmen Gregory. Bradley was last employed at Allied Universal Security Services providing security around the city for local businesses. Brad (as he was often called) was multi-talented. Besides working in the public sector, he also had an interpenurial spirit. He owned a painting business, Jesus Way Painting, and prior to opening that business, he had been employed by IndyGo, as a driver on the Indy Metro bus system. Bradley professed his belief and love for Christ and joined Jesus Way Open Door Ministry where he served under the leadership of Pastor Gloria Bonds. He served in the position of Deacon. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Ministry and showed his belief in the value of Christian Education through regular attendance at services and Bible Study. Bradley was gifted by God as a craftsman. In repayment, he used that gift to edify the Lord by assisting in the formation of Jesus Way Open Door Ministry. Whether obeying the call of the Lord to preach the Gospel, completing work in the area of carpentry, plumbing, or painting, you found that Brad’s hands were involved in many aspects of the ministry. Bradley Turner, departed this earthly life and returned to his heavenly Father on April 24, 2024, at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 24 days in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bradley was preceded in death by ex-wife, Myrinah Turner; cherished mother of three of his children and a still-born son, Pamela Gamby; his sister, Bertha L. Hines; his mother, Georgia M. Turner; his father, Wilson T. Turner, Sr.; and nephew, John A. Hayden. Bradley is survived by, and leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Bradley Turner and Anthony Turner; three daughters, Tina Johnson, Rena England and Carmen Gregory; three brothers, Ralph (Achebe) Turner, Robert B. Turner, and Wilson T. Turner, Jr.; two sisters, Rose M. Hawkins and Clara M. Dartis; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives, church family, dear cherished friend, Toni Mayberry, and many other friends and acquaintances.
