Robin M Warren

Robin Marie Warren was born June 14, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana to James Everett Edwards, Sr. and Helen Louise Edwards (Hatcher). Robin is the second eldest of six children. Despite their varying ages and conflicting personalities, Robin and her siblings were remarkably close. Robin’s no nonsense, unfiltered, take-charge persona, and distinctive roaring laugh undoubtedly declared her to be the most vocal amongst her siblings. Robin is known as “the backbone,” the pillar of support of her family and she was revered by all that knew her for her insurmountable strength and resolve. Robin accepted Christ at an early age and continued her walk with the Lord into adulthood. Love, family, strength, hard-work, and pride are values she held in high regard. Robin attended private school before transferring to Indianapolis Public School system, where she continued her education and later graduated from Arlington High School. Robin dedicated her life to supporting her family. In April 1981, Robin welcomed her eldest son; Norman “Noodles” Thompson, Jr. Robin was united in Holy matrimony to the love of her life, Luther “Skeeter” Warren, and from this union her youngest son, Marcell Lee Warren, was born in October 1989. Robin worked at Beveled Glass for over twenty years, she held many positions and loved the work she did there. She was most recently employed at MSW as a machine operator where she retired. Robin, fondly known as, “Mrs. Robin,” was truly one of a kind. Robin was highly respected, and she will be remembered for her powerful nature, infectious smile, boisterous laughter, and resilience. Mrs. Robin Marie Warren departed this life on Sunday, September 18,2022 at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 5 days. Robin was preceded in death by her parents; James E. Edwards, Sr., and Helen L. Edwards, husband; Luther Skeeter Warren, brother; James E. Edwards Jr., son; Norman Thompson, nephew; Corey Markey, and niece; Jamie Evette Taylor. Robin leaves to cherish her precious memory; son, Marcell Warren, grandchildren Unique Thompson and Noraie Thompson; sisters; Angelique Highbaugh (Emmett), Dana Scott, Piper Markey, and Heather Edwards; along with a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
