Deborah Ann Jackson-Goynes

March 6, 1950 - March 11, 2022

Deborah Ann Jackson, Daughter of Eulas L. Jackson, Sr. and Beverly Ann Graves Jackson was born March 6, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Deborah was the first born to this union. Deborah received her education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She attended IPS #85 and #60 and graduated from Shortridge High School. Debbie or Deb as she was affectionately called believed in working, she worked at RCA, and as a Health Care Aide and retired from IYC Correctional Center. Debbie was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was very loved by everyone that knew her and will be extremely missed Debbie professed her faith and gave her life to Christ at a young age. Deborah Ann Jackson-Goynes departed this earth on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ann Jackson, sisters, Pamela D. JacksonAnderson, Robin E. Jackson-Green, and brother, Ronald Gilmore. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, George Goynes; 2 sons, Marcus L. Maxie and Tarik S. Presswood; grandchildren, Felecia Smith and Tarik Rhodes; 2 greatgrandchildren, Kingston Morgan and Kyliee Morgan (not yet born, will arrive in July) ; father, Eulas L. Jackson, Sr.; sisters, Frances Dale (Morris Crosby), Judith Douglas-Meriwether (Stanley), Sherene O’Neil (James), Rebecca Berry (Dayron Mitchell); brother, Eulas L. Jackson, Jr.; sister-in-law, Jane Gilmore; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends. Deborah Ann Jackson-Goynes, 72, passed on March 11, 2022. Visitation and services will be on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Universal Ministries World Wide , 1927 E. 32nd Street. Visitation will be from 10-12pm with services to follow at 12pm. Entombment at Crown Hill Cemetery. Please keep the family in your prayers.
